A towering storm cell builds offshore beneath a star-filled sky, repeatedly illuminated from within by lightning. Rain shafts descend towards the ocean while the coastline glows quietly beneath the storm.
Then a rare in-cloud bolt breaks above the top of the cell, adding one final point of energy to an already extraordinary scene.
Storm over Nobby's captures the scale and structure of a coastal thunderstorm at night — stars overhead, lightning within the cloud and the dark ocean below.
