Tacking Point Storm - Edition of 50

Will Eades Photography

A light in the darkness.

Multiple lightning strikes illuminate the façade of Tacking Point Lighthouse, surrounding it with a remarkable balance of soft front- and backlighting during a powerful summer storm.

Built in 1879, the lighthouse has stood watch over this coastline for nearly 150 years. One can only imagine how many nights like this it has witnessed.

Tacking Point, Port Macquarie, Australia.
