When the storm met the sunset.

A powerful supercell approaches the Australian east coast, growing steadily in size, structure and complexity as it moves towards land.

As the storm developed, its cloud structure became increasingly dynamic. Deep layers and sweeping striations wrapped around the storm, revealing the immense movement and organisation within the system.

Then, in the final moments of daylight, the scene went to another level. The setting sun broke through beneath the cloud base and illuminated the rain core in brilliant gold, throwing warm light through the falling rain while the sculpted blue-grey structure of the supercell towered above.

Sunset Storm captures that fleeting collision of scale, structure and light — a mature supercell reaching the coast just as the last light of day transformed it.

Produced as a strictly limited Edition of 30, each artwork is individually numbered and accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
